Commentary: This diminutive stand is remarkable for its pleasing proportions and fine detail – not frequently encountered on such utilitarian pieces from Virginia’s interior regions. The clipped front corners, delicately tapered legs with molded edges, and shaped apron are blending together in a charming combination. The single drawer retains its original brass pull.
Condition and Materials: The table is in fine condition with an old surface and mellow color.
