This charming four drawer chest likely sat on the top of a larger chest and as used for jewelry or valuables. The drawers are not graduated in the traditional sense but are of slightly different in size. Of dovetail construction, each drawer has string inlay as well as original brass pulls – set into a skillfully crafted case. The tall feet and bold skirt provide lift and “presence”.
