Two Drawer Serving Table
Walnut
Shenandoah County
C. 1830
37″ W x 21″ D. x 28″ H
The unusually broad proportions of this stand suggest that it was likely intended to function as a server with its large, broad drawers providing generous storage. It has a light, mellow tone with nicely figured walnut and boldly turned legs. Yellow pine and poplar secondary woods. Descended in a Mount Jackson area family.
