This exceptional key basket is notable for its relatively large scale and, in particular, for its elaborately tooled decorative designs. The upper and lower edges of the sides are enclosed by a finely tooled braided border. A continuous series of tooled decorative motifs fill the basket sides and bottom. This key basket survives in fine condition.
